**Jason’s Epic Food Tour – Stop 6 of 6**

By the time we got to our last stop of the tour, I was feeling pretty stuffed.  But the timing and pacing had been pretty good so I knew I had one little corner left in my stomach for a few more bites and the place that would provide those bites was Via Tribunali.

Via Tribunali serves authentic Neapolitan pizza and they have the paperwork to back it up – I saw their certificate from the Associazione Vera Pizza Napoletana hanging on the wall.  We arrived just as they opened for their first Happy Hour and took a seat at the bar.  The interior is mostly dark, rich woods that exude a modern yet warm vibe, with the highlight being their red brick pizza oven right across from the bar.

Their Happy Hour menu features $5 pizzas, but only in three varieties – Margherita, Marinara, and Salame.  They also offer a dessert option, the small Nutella Calzone.

We opted for the classic Margherita (pomodoro, fresh mozzarella, grana padano, olive oil basil).  It came piping hot straight out of the red brick oven and the aroma was incredible – freshly prepared dough with equally fresh simple ingredients.  The crust was incredible thin and had a nice crispy texture, the sauce was rich and savoury, and the cheese melted just right.  I only wished that there were more than just the couple of leaves of basil.

Jason opted for the nutella calzone, which to my eyes did not look “small” as the menu described.  It looked pretty tasty, but I couldn’t possibly fit another bite into my stomach after finishing the pizza.

For $5, the pizza was an incredible value.  I’d definitely go back and pay full price to try some of their other pizzas, and maybe squeeze in a dessert calzone, too.

And with that, the tour was over.  We promptly went home and had a long, satisfying nap.
